How much Christmas overtime are you doing?

Post by britwrit »

Just curious. I was wondering how much Christmas overtime everyone at the various mail centres are planning on doing this year?

Me. Not so much. I'm on a 16-hour contract and so should be only doing 3 40-hour weeks before Xmas. I did a 76-hour week a few years back and I still have nightmares about that.

Making hay while the sun shines. Expensive time of the year, will be banging a bit in, though probably not 76 hour weeks

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

None - used to do loads at Crewe but not done any since they added the 70 mile round trip to Warrington onto my working day - just to knackered to consider more hours

Haven't done Xmas OT or SA since the Way Forward Agreement 2000, and don't intend to start now.
