It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

That email address isn't working properly - no matter what you send to it, it replies with a list of stock questions/answers and instructs you to email again with "Unresolved Query" if your question isn't listed. And when you do, you get the same response again... and again... and again...

I got the below, will now try the 'Unresolved Query' thing.

Many thanks for taking the time to email your query through to us.

Please see below for some resolutions to the most common questions we have
been asked

Note : If your query relates to one of the below your email will not be

rectify your query please email back using " Unresolved Query" as your

As an ex RM Casual now with Angard I am appalled at the service given by what is in effect a RM company. I had a problem with a missing shift in my pay last week and rang Angard about midday (when my post arrives!), the person on the other end took all my details and said my query would be passed on to payroll. I rang back at 5.30 as nobody had called back to be told that all pay queries must be sent by e-mail :arrrghhh . Sent e-mail and here we are Tuesday 1st Nov and still nobody has rung or emailed me back.

What a sorry state of affairs.

If you attend an interview with this company for a Xmas working position at Royal Mail then prepare yourself for a shambolic day. 5 hour delay to be interviewed - disgraceful and no apology offered. A very poor reflection on Royal Mail.

Also it was a first come first served' basis so get in the first slot ! Odd way to conduct interviews.

I have been invited to be interviewed and I desperately need to book an interview, however, my status shows "APPLICATION WITHDRAWN". This therefore does not allow me to reply or select an interview time.

Please kindly advise how best to communicate as I am unable to communicate with anyone from Angard Staffing online or otherwise.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi, Do you mean your status is showing "APPLICATION RECIEVED" not as you have put" APPLICATION WITHDRAWN"? As most people who can't book an interview slot are having the same problem as the link to the slots page is only available when their status shows "INVITED TO INTERVIEW" and it soon reverts back to "APPLICATION RECIEVED" again.

If your status is actualy showing "APPLICATION WITHDRAWN" not "APPLICATION RECIEVED" that is worrying as it looks like you may have managed to accidently click on something and could have withdrawn your application yourself by mistake?
