geofizz?
Has anyone in any other del office heard about this .Apparantly its a computer program that mimics your round and tells how long it should take and changes your round so that you do it more econmicly. We have been told it comes in october and that all rounds will have more calls and theres NOTHING we can do about it as it is being used nationally.
Anyone else know of this system ?
Is it national?
How does it work?
Many thanks

delivery span should still be 3 hour 30 min with 15 min allowed to get to your first drop and 15min to get back to your office from your last drop.madelin4 wrote:Wha!! It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: 20 miles
Well ours aren't 20 miles away but they are about 8/9 miles away in rural areas where buses are only every hour - and out of 80 walks - 45 would be rural though not as far or as hard to get to/from - but nevertheless a stupid plan. Even most town deliveries would be pushed to complete their delivery under this system.cornishrep wrote:if you dont mind me asking mate, how are some walks 20 miles away??ROCKY wrote:some of our walks are 20 miles from the office that should be a fun idea, never get owt done
