I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

According to the agreement done and dusted by Sept 2012...
In delivery offices WCM is still being developed and will be completed in all delivery offices and network hubs by September 2012.
I would imagine that timescale has turned to bollocks by now though. :neutral:

Done and dusted what ? which way it will affect Delivery Offices? Please someone tell delivery people whats' this world class mail mean ? I asked many lads in delivery side and they never heard of this world class mail?

According to the latest CWU mailshot,all co-operation with WCM is suspended,is it not?

With the planned new Medway Mail Centre touted as an all singing and dancing WCM centre, should we stop preference exercises etc??

Partially. Something like they are advising members not to embrace anything new and that support was suspended for all future roll outs. The way it read was that existing agreements will continue as long as they follow the agreed practices.

Here at NWMMC it is carrying on and the Union reps haven't advised people to stop. Having said that our Union reps won't give people a straight answer in regards to their stance on WCM, one minute they are all for the changes and the next they consider it a waste of time.
