I hope i'm allowed to post something like this!
A few weeks ago I applied for the Royal Mail Christmas casual. Everything was running smoothly until I was invited for a interview, and the option to book a interview wasn't there (it's happened to quite a few of the people on here, i've read). After things mucking up, I couldn't even find a way to contact them, or at least I didn't think I could.
I eventually managed to contact them via email, after finding their address in the most stupid of places. This email was angardxmas.queries@reedglobal.com
The email address was found on the bottom of a "request your password" reminder.
Anyway, I contacted them via email explaining how I was invited for a interview and there was no option to book it. I was expecting a reply to my email as I left them no phone number, but instead this morning I had a phone call from head office (they must of searched my email on their database and got my number from my application), who said this problem was a mistake on their behalf. The guy was very helpful and he managed to book me a slot over the phone and he emailed me all the details I needed. I emailed them Friday evening, so it only took them one working day to get back to me, which I thought was brilliant.
To wrap up, if anyone else has has this problem, I defiantly recommend sending them a message. I'd of posted the direct phone number but unfortunatly the number was blocked. Hopefully someone can help you!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
