Contacted Angard as I am looking to start in Preston Depot on the 28th, have all the contract details documents have been checked etc. I am now being told only through mye checking there website that I have document's missing (which ones they are not sure) if that makes any sense!. So as you can imagine not happy if someone has lost my passport, driving licence information etc. I specifically made sure that i had all the information was there and now through there incompetency not sure if Im even going to be starting. All this for a temp job its disgusting. Royal mail should do there own assesment days at least you know where you stand. Lets hope they get back to me within the week (yes a week) to see if my scans suddenly appear

My son started at Sheffield sorting office after a complete mess about and being turned away on the night that angard told him to report for work as his name was not on 'the list' that the royal mail supervisor had.
He worked we'd, thurs, fri the week before last and was only paid £70 last Thursday for it. He hasn't been paid anything today for working all last week!!!!!
He can't get an answer from anguard on the 'phone again!
What sort of employers are they??? How on earth did they win the Royal Mail contract and where is the quality monitoring by Royal Mail Managers?
These poor people are being treated without the commonest courtesy - it is a complete sham.....
He worked we'd, thurs, fri the week before last and was only paid £70 last Thursday for it. He hasn't been paid anything today for working all last week!!!!!
He can't get an answer from anguard on the 'phone again!

Two of my friends started in the Sheffield sorting office on 28th November and haven't been paid yet and cannot get hold of Angard at all. This is ridiculous! Royal Mail need to step in and sort this out.

My husband has been at Sheffield sorting office for 2 weeks ..no pay.This is getting ridiculous. Unable to contact Angard in any way...no response from Emails. Royal Mail not very helpful so far...major talk from other members of staff about staging a walkout!!!...this needs resolving now...for the good of the poor employees turning up and basically working for free...for the public who are going to be sending parcels that may not arrive at their destination and for the sake of Royal Mails reputation....disgusting!!!!!!!

Having been given a letter at my interview offering me a position (solely subject to security vetting procedures) and telling me to turn up at 11am on 6th December I decided to speak to Angard the day before I was due to start to confirm everything as I had received no subsequent confirmation.
They said that I did not have a job as yet and they would contact me when I was required. Following this conversation I contacted ACAS who informed me that if I turned up as instructed and was turned away that Angard would effectively be in breach of contract and it would leave the way open to take them to an industrial tribunal.
When I turned up at the appointed time with my offer letter I was allowed in and despite not being on the list of candidates who were expected that morning I was given a job. I have now been working for over a week with no contract, no ID, no confirmation from Angard in fact without anything!
I am now waiting to see if I get paid this Friday, not holding my breath!

This organisation (if you can call them that) are a complete shambles and a disgrace. Started work on the 29th Nov and still not paid. I have tried ringing and emailing constantly to no avail. I shall not be working again until they pay up. Maybe they are a charity?

Quick update ...hubby been paid ..but guess what its incorrect worked 53 hours to date ...paid £100.00 !!!! I wrote to Julie Hinchliffe, a director at Reed and she kicked Payroll up the butt to pay me 60% of my gross salary for my first week. I was assured that the balance of this, less tax, plus my next salary would be paid into my bank account with no problem on Friday.
Earlier this evening (Thursday) I had an e-mail from Target Recruitment Agency thanking me for my mail of 24th November when I provided all the payroll information they needed, but ASKING ME FOR MY NATIONAL INSURANCE NUMBER FOR THE PAYROLL!!!
And no, I've not been paid just after midnight.
Bastards!
IF I go in tomorrow it will be to say goodbye to my fellow Casuals. After that, I shall kick ass at Angard, Reed and Target to get everything I am owned!
These people are incompetent, uncaring and downright moronic. How DARE they treat people like this!

I got back from work about 20 to 7 this morning eager to check my bank, and surprise surprise not been paid i have phoned angard less than 10 minutes ago, and asked them why the hell i havent been paid and they checked my details and apparently they dont have any of my bank details, also apparently alot of the people who were supposed to be paid last friday have not yet because of a major f up on angards side. i have been told they will ring me within the next hour to sort this out not hopeing much though, i will wait till half 10 then phone them. so annoyed and i really feel for all of u in the same position.
