Post office staff collect cash for SWAN

FOR almost a year, Richard and Rosemary Swan and their staff at Hale & Woodfalls post office have been busy collecting funds for the charity SWAN Advocacy Network.

Now they have handed over £186.45 to the Salisbury-based charity, which helps people who are unable to represent themselves in dealing with the authorities because of learning disability or health issues or even just a lack of confidence.

A SWAN spokesman said: “Their support is greatly appreciated. The money will help us continue to promote social inclusion, equality and justice.”
