parts of walks didnt go out for second time this week

Was told I have to tell them a day in advance I have plans and dont want overtime :arrrghhh :arrrghhh :funneh

Hammered again. Only difference was slightly less packets. Weekend off so I'm off down the pub.

Relatively light- back in the office just after 2pm, as opposed to nearer 3pm last two days. Six d2ds for the second week running.....
Lets hope tomorrow isnt too heavy :roll:

Today we had a visit from two managers from the ivory towers in london, informing us of the state on Royal Mail. Sadly
we could have told them what they told us: Over Regulation, too much political interference etc. The tragedy is all of this was obvious many years ago and should have been sorted then. Self interest in high management back then and incompetent politions on all sides didnt help.

In at 8:00am - out for 9:00 and delivering till 4:45pm. Absolutely sodden and frozen from start to finish. Had to go back to the depot to get a dry pouch half way through. As I made my last delivery a woman came to her front gate to berate me for her late mail...
