My cwu branch Scotland no 2 fought my case told the area manager how good this will look in court.Needless to say they backed down big style .
At present I'm again off work this time with a displaced cartillage in my knee.It happened during the last wk of my hols so I've been off since the start of August was at the docs on monday & he signed me off for a further 4 wks.The Dim phoned me & said they would like me to see the ATOSsers in Edinburgh I refused as I could'nt drive the 60 mls there & back but if you supply a taxi for me I'd gladly go ,
yet again they backed down so I got a phone call from them instead .

Jock me old son.... I feel for ya... I have just been thru a Kangaroo sesh with a So-called-Royal Mail SCREW/DR/SPECIALIST.... And after 20 mins he shooed me out the door not before telling me RM can make me medicaly retired... Now im 36 and fit enough apart froma 3 year H&B Case and Greivence against RM and a Cof C outstsanding.... Now Ive got PROFFESSIONAL PEOPLE.. IE.. GP and Health service and ATOS. Which the latter this (DR?) is apart of.... Six weeks i went off my own back to see ATOS And they made there reports in my favour.(In my opinion) After 20 mins this geezer chucks my job and livelyhood down the drain.... THANKS A FECKING BUNCH RM AND DR W--K-R (fill that in yourselves)
Im appealing and got legal backing as well as going thru the Union... I want Simpson and Millers backing on Industrial Issues....

Tommo me old mate, The people who asses you first at ATOS are only advisors. But, for some reason DIM's take there word as law. There's a bloke at my office who was 'assesed' by ATOS sent the DIM a report telling him that my mate should be back at work in 3 weeks as it was DWP guidelines. No examination. His hernia had become infected and he needed more time off, according to his GP. 10-15 phone calls later, the DIM turned up on his door step to hand over a letter telling my mate to get back to work at a certain date or he'll stop his pay. The union got involved, got an appointment with an ATOS physician and was signed off for another month. My mate sent a B & H form and evidence into gateway for the DIM's phone calls and turning up on his doorstep. It was sent back to him, gateway told him it was a grievence. A fecking grievence.
2 morals from this story: 1: ATOS are shite, 2: GAteway don't know what B & H is and protect the bullying DIM's
Right... I had my H&B case and straight away Gateway said the same thing... "NOT A H&B.. ITS A GRIEVENCE." I kept on phoning em and told em all my facts and wanted it to be under a H&B / Grievence.. But it had its different merits and has every case.. But i feel as you must that its a HUSH HUSH attitude when it comes to H&B inside RM when it becomes against screws as Mine was... Same as the one ur commenting on.. STRANGE AINT IT??? Would RM deliberately try to cover up and shove it under a lesser charge of Grievence and it then can be shuffled under a RM and CWU agreed IR framework...?????? RM think that they can pull the wool over eveyones eyes!!!! I feel they take the piss.... ATOS in this instance will be on MY SIDE as origninally i saw a adviser off of my own back... 6 weeks i went.... Then after i was off sick some more.. RM then wanted me to go to a Business referal... THIS IS MUCH DIFFERENT... PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW THE DIFFERENCE!!!!!!! RM ask only what they want to know.. IE.... WHEN WILL POSTIE... GET BACK TO WORK AND IF NOT WHY NOT AND THEN USE THE WEAPON OF ATOS TO SAY... YES THIS POSTIE IS AVALIBLE OR NO... BUT U GUESSED IT ITS ALWAYS YES THEY CAN.... Even when the PROFFESSIONALS... GP's and specialists say different!!! Its happening in my =case but i cant say no more than that in detail.. That is my opinion....

In my opinion...Royal Mail never go against thier own , the most militant , bolshy union is the unofficial Manager's Union on the quiet. Problem is when Middle Management "suddenly" become Health "experts" and thier loaded , leading set questions with "desired" responses which ATOS ORIGIN are quite happy to supply. It's deliberately provactive, only due recourse is taking things outside the Post Office.

For three years now and its nearly coming to an end But RM have made me retired... IM 36 FFS!!! (OOPS) Ive got DR's notes and ATOS to say a move from the MC i was in as its all the stress is coming from... They see it all the medical people see it but RM In there wisdom dont & wont!!!
Get ya Dad to mow the grass like Wembley and in lines... That should keep him off the PC a while so you can have a go!!! HEHEHEHEH!!!
