Prostitutes are targeting night shift workers on their way home in Oxford, claims a Royal Mail worker.

Kevin Fallon, of Phipps Road, Cowley, said colleagues were being propositioned after leaving work and there appeared to be women hanging around the all-night petrol station in Oxford Road.

At a meeting of Oxford City Council's Cowley area committee last night, Mr Fallon said: "A colleague was accosted by a prostitute and asked if he wanted a good time. "I'm well annoyed" said Fallon, adding that 'not one of them asked me'

I have seen two, three or four people hanging about there. They are slowly coming up our end of the Garsington Road into Phipps Road." And I thought multiple orgasms were a myth !

Sgt Paul Sexton, neighbourhood sergeant for Cowley, told the committee the neighbourhood policing team was making progress on dealing with prostitution. We passed one to the chief inspector, one to the drugs squad, one to the vice squad ...

He said: "Night workers are possibly using the services of these people and therefore they are moving further down the road. There's also a cash machine by the garage which could facilitate those services.

"There's a sex worker who is very visible BLOODY HELL, THOSE HI-VIZ VESTS ARE EVERYWHERE and not subtle at all about parading her business around the Oxford Road area and we intend to take action against that person.

Somewhere within RM there will be a manager puting together a powerpoint presentation of how RM can take advantage of this situation....

1- RM could become these girls PIMP and offer to take the payments straight from the posties wages

2- RM could try and raise revenue by prostituting its own staff, thus cutting out the middle man

Either way the sucessfull aplicant would need to work flexably and be willing to "take out several male sacks in their own cars"

Also be capable of handling large packets and help out with "specials"

This vacancy is NOT job and done, you'll have to stay on until ALL the work is finished
