Posties get new 'push sticks' to stop dog attacks

If you've got something like a mini Boden catalogue - what use are the dog pegs.
They aren't flexible enough to grip something that thick.

It's about time that Royal Mail took this issue about dogs and dog attacks seriously and stopped f***ing about with stupid ideas like these push sticks.A few years ago we were given 'paw print stickers' to stick on letters to remind us to take extra care and that this address had a 'dangerous dog'.

If you are aware that there is a risk of a dog attack at a particular address then why should you even attempt to deliver the mail in the 1st place? Your manager should be notified and he/she should get off their arse and visit this customer and notify them that mail deliveries are to be suspended until they get postbox fitted on their gate/wall or make arrangements to collect mail from the sorting office.

I thought the "paw print" label went onto the frame at the problem address so that anyone covering the duty could write "D" on the first letter - at least thats how we do it.
