Unable to book an interview

Post by SimplePeon »

Hello all. I'm having some problems with Angard/i-grasp's web recruitment process, and since they don't provide any contact information, I'm humbly requesting some assistance from you fine people.

I applied for a Christmas casual job and recently received an e-mail from Angard inviting me to an interview. In the e-mail it instructs me to log on to their website and choose an interview date. Only problem is, there's no visible option to select an interview.

Here's what the web page looks like after logging in:

Am I missing something? Have I lost a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Is there any way to contact Angard?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Having a similar problem only on my page says invited for interview but that their are no slots available.

Have found one number on the internet for Angard but it seems to have been left off the hook.

Any way of contacting them would be appreciated.

Thanks very much :Very Happy

the one i had tried was the bottom of the 4 in the post.

To the OP. I was told that we've pretty much missed the boat for that round of interviews. However you should receive a text and e-mail for the next one

Dear Candidate,

In relation to the email received. The only slots we currently have
available will be showing online. If no slots show up unfortunately this
means the dates are fully booked. More dates will potentially be added in
the future depending on the number of additional applicants we receive. We
advise that you check your application/emails regularly to see if more
dates have been added.

I'm having the exact same problem. I signed up to this chat thing when I saw someone else was having the same problem hoping for a answer!
With me though, I didn't actually receive the email saying I could book a interview. I received a REMINDER email telling me to book! two days later after receiving the reminder, the 1st email turned up in the angard website mailbox, but not my actual email inbox :\
My status changed from "application received" to the book a interview status after I received the reminder email. But when I checked for a slot none were available, so I looked the next day and my status reverted back to application received and the option to book a interview disappeared. No idea what's going on.. not sure what to do either.

I received an e-mail at 07:46 this morning which I did'nt open untill 11:00 hrs.
And also a SMS message.
So when I logged on the royalmail website I went to book an interview and theres a nothing there "no slots available.
Have tried to call them but no answer, guess I will see if anymore "slots" open up soon.

I have had the same problem - received a reminder email without receiving an invitation one first. When I try to book an interview slot it says none available.

Hi All

Im having the same problem too!! It showed book interview and the available slots. I needed to check with my Mrs before hand as she needed the car for travel in a couple of weeks so wanted to make sure I had the car for the date.

Came back to book my interview a day or so later and now its changed to "TEST FINISHED" and no option to "book interview"

:-(

If anybody gets to the bottom of it, it would be much apopreciated, it seems unfair so many people are having the same problem but nothing is being done about it or any explinations as to why. I agree it is playing with peoples job hopes!!

Sooo wish I had booked the slot when it was there and took the risk :-((

Hello All,
I received an text message and email alert for the 'Registration Event' i logged into my account within 60 seconds of receiving the alert and clicked on the 'Book Interview' to met with the all to familiar 'No Slots Available' .

I have logged into my account on numerous occasions and received the dreaded 'No Slots Available' reply.

I have also been sent the 'Interview Booking Reminder' and again within 35 seconds this time of receiving the alert and clicked on the 'Book Interview' to met with the all to familiar 'No Slots Available' .

I assumed that the application level would be high with regards to jobs within the Royal Mail Group but i wasn't expecting this.

I just hope that it doesn't go against me in any way ... Although i guess they know themselves that the demand has out stripped supply !!!

Kindest Regards,
John

On Tuesday 25th I received a reminder email. I had not been back on the Royal Mail website and looked at my account since making my application. I logged into my account and saw that, acording to their records, the invitation to interview email was sent out on Oct 13th,followed by reminder emails on the 16th,19th and 22nd. NONE OF THE PREVIOUS FOUR EMAILS MADE IT TO MY INBOX! They were not in my junk folder either. Since Tuesday I've been checking the 'book interview' link every so often but all I'm getting is the 'no slots available' message. I've done Christmas Casual work the last two years but have I now missed the boat because the email system is/has f**ked up or does anyone know if more slots will be added? My application was for Croydon mail centre if that's any help. Alternatively if anyone knows where/what dates the interviews for Croydon are being held is it worth just turning up with my documents and trying to get seen?

Update: Friday 28th and I'm still getting 'no slots available' when I try to book the interview but there's another reminder message in my Angard/Royal Mail inbox which is dated today, but which, again, has not appeared in my actual email inbox. This is getting ridiculous.
