DOES ANY ONE ELSE FEEL THE SAME OR IS IT JUST ME????
thank you kindly.....
Yep...All the guys at my office are the same. I'm coming home like a Zombie. Collapse on the sofa. I don't even have Lunch sometimes, just clamber up the stairs and pass out on the bed for an hour.

Social Life zero, I'm ratty and depressed. Taking it out on the Misses. Halfway through the 2nd delivery your shoes feel like they're strangling your feet. A colleague of mine last week just stripped off, put his uniform in a pile in the middle of his Lounge and just sat and stared at them for 45 mins, thinking 'There must be more to life than this'

Deliveries are too long now, for some reason Royal Mail can't understand that in and out of a van 20 times plus a mountain of parcels plus your mail now split into smaller sections takes longer...DURRRRRRR! All we keep hearing is....'but there's two of you now'

do u think the papers giva pubic hair?

they probably do insane shifts themselves

Hours

You will need to be flexible about your working hours. Following up stories, responding to breaking news and meeting deadlines can mean working long, irregular hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

You will usually be based in an open-plan office, which is likely to be hectic and noisy most of the time. You will also spend time out of the office, chasing up stories. You can expect to travel to any area covered by the newspaper. If you work for the national or international press this could mean travelling anywhere in the world, sometimes at short notice.

We're all knackered, crumpled, battered and depressed, rurals on van exceed five hours first to last letter. Middle of fudged revision planned on thirteen manual interventions/KNOCKS. Twaddle average sixteen on PDA plus upwards of fifty packets,BUT they tell us we can't cut off cos' we're not efficient indoors. We don't hit the Indoor Workload Tool targets based on 100BSI and we're all a bunch of lazy bast***s. So what would you say? :cuppa

If it's not a model week then it's not possible to complete - simple.
