I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

This week was about an opportunity to become a "Listener" There is so much bullying and harassment going on that RM now want people to share their problems with their work colleagues. It was then pointed out to the LM that RM were the cause of all the bullying and harassment!
Rocky, you are entitled to half an hour WTL&L session a week as agreed under the "Way Backwards" agreement. Tell your LM that if you dont get it, you will be going home half an hour early or contacting Alan Leighton.
Wait for express personal invitation!

Re: The 'WTLL Tuesday' thread.
You lucky bbbbbbleeder !!!! Believe me, you're missing sod all. Just imagine all the headlines about the mess bosses have got RM in, in the Courier, and on a tuesday being called off the floor to hear the DOM repeat the headlines ad finitum, but with the added slant that it's our, the poor downtrodden postie's fault !POSTMAN wrote:Let us know the goss,or rather the bull,we don't have them down at my DO.
I feel i'm missing out![]()

We had our usual drivvel last night
More on how RM we listening to it's workforce with regards the pay deal and how they had not as a result of feedback from people, removed the Door to Door item from the "Strings"
However, my manager then went on to say that to overcome this little hurdle, Rm are investing in new machinary which will prep the door to doors and put them in one envelope! So guess what, it will no longer be take 5 and get paid for 3 but take as many as they can cram in the envelope and get paid for 1
He also touched on how we were loosing jobs due to the network revamp and that the work we are loosing is going to arrive at our office about 5hrs later than what it does now!!!!! AND THEY GO ON ABOUT US NOT BEING EFFICIENT!
It's a joke.
He also wants to make us work 12am - 8am. What a shift eh?
I dont think there was one bit of good news in the whole of the briefing
What a way to encourage your workforce for the week eh.

Sneaky twonks ! 4 or 5 bits of junkmail in one envelope , and payment by envelope ! I know how I am going
to react to all the rubbish we've put up with from Leighton & Crozier, not just over these last couple of months , but over the last
3 or 4 years , topped off by that most unforgiveable of all insults, "you, the postperson, are both underworked and overpaid", and
I'd urge all postalworkers to do likewise and give the two twats mis-managing our industry a well deserved poke in the eye ,
Back your union because your union backs you , vote yes to industrial action.
A no vote will spell the beginning of the end of our jobs.
