How long's your sentence ?

I'm halfway through my 15th year and how i yearn for the good old days!! I'd go back to working 6 days a week and getting home by 10:30am at the drop of a hat!! Whats the use of having an extra day off if your too knackered to do anything with it!!

nice to read a thread that has some possitivity !
general census seems to be that once out of the depot the job is actually enjoyable ( as jobs go )
so maybe the answer is sort the depots out ??

22 years so far only got to 2025 to go then i retire at 60 or is that go at xmas with exhaustion

Retirement age in 2025 will be 80, so only another 34 years left

27 years on jan5 2012,ups and downs but hey its sorted me out personally,20years as a postman and nearly 7 on the vans,to all the knockers of this job i say one thing,go get a proper job,then come back and tell the the forum how bad the p.o was
