Southampton MC

Post by fatboylard »

Hello all,

I was wondering if someone could help me. I'm trying to arrange a transfer from my current base in Manchester MC ideally down to east Dorset or Southampton and, management are doing their very best not to help as ever. Basically does anybody have the number four Southampton. MC duties?

Thanks in advance,
Sam

please bear in mind that southampton mail centre is part of the south west region.the south west review has not yet happened so we do not know yet who is going to go!!!

infact the job situation will be much worse soon as those employees within the mail centres affected will be fighting for remaining jobs as we discover which mail centres are to close

ie exeter,plymouth,bristol,truro,dorset ,southampton and portsmouth

Thanks guys, I understand there's a big reshuffle taking place at the moment. I'm clutching at straws really, been on the transfer list for 3 months now trying to get somewhere closer to home in Bournemouth. PITA to be honest.

Yeah we MC staff need at least 6 breaks an hour!

TBH I'd relish working at the DO as I can practically see it from my house, I think a 100 yard commute beats 250 miles any day!

Peace

Maybe if SOME delivery staff took their breaks and didn't run round, used their cars, came in early etc etc, they wouldn't be so grumpy!
