It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Waiting list candidate
My experience with HR is that they are slow and rubbish. I nearly lost a job offer because they apparantly sent me a text message (which I never received) asking me to call and accept the offer. I obviously didn't because I never got the text. It's by pure chance i decided to call and ask for an update on my interview.leeroy5312 wrote:Hi guys i had an interview recently and i got put on a waiting list, i have since applied for another position by e-mailing royal mail.
has anyone here been hired after being put on the waiting list? if so how long until i can expect to find out?

Hi guys... sorry to keep bringing this up, just really quite excited at the prospect of starting a job as a postie.
Just checked my application on the website and the status says Security Checks Passed, what comes after this?
