Thankfully your downloads section on policies such as stress and fatigue and the 1 minute test are a great help. I think it is down to a huge conducive effort by the membership. Communication was the key,big big factor!

Re: Wolverhampton to Go 100% Full time
This is not a victory all they've done is divide the hours available by the number of people. Therefore 90% will be worse off having their hours reduced to 36. A full time job in RM IS 39 hours so if a pay cut is a victory then al hail Wolves another slight of hand to decieve naive not intelligent reps. Wait til the misses see's next weeks pay packet -too late to start crying nowronpetetrevchris wrote:Found the 1 min prep test stuff couls someone point me in the right direction for stress and fatigue docs pls, i know a h+s rep who would love em. Christ away for a few hours and the trolls fly on.
Biggestman doesnt quite understand how things work.
Not one postie has lost a single minute in this revision and a hell of a lot have been increased by at least 3 hrs.
I was under the misconception that people on this forum were of the informed variety, never mind you learn something new every day.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Scepticism is a good thing in RM, after all people have been let down many times.
Perhaps one or two of you would consider ringing the Wolverhampton branch and inquire

If it looks like sh*t, smells like sh*t then it is sh*t.
The statistics simply do not add up.
Having seen two revisions at close quarters there is no way those figures are correct. Full timers after a D&M and Indoor Revision would be on a minimum 39 hour week, not 36.

That way you can have all the facts to hand rather than sniping from the sidelines with no local knowledge.
