We appreciate that progress on this subject is slow but we are endeavouring to move this forward ASAP.
How long do they need ffs, when did this 1st come in! :left:

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I don't get this, they're live mail so just deliver them, cut off if needed but just deliver them.

Sometimes I wonder about what some people are thinking, they're an important product for RM (and at the end of the day us) and people seem to go out of their way to not do them claiming they don't have to time but we all have the same time, right up until our contracted hours run out and then it's cut off time

Unfortunately for him, P&L hasn't been implemented on his code section yet, but once it is, and if by some miracle he is still with us, he will no doubt come to understand that D2D equals 20 minutes off his delivery span, and more stuff coming back :dance

Had big issues in my DO this week regarding D2D's. DOM threatened staff with wilful delay if they don't get done, next thing we know LM's are going along the aisles throwing them in the skip because walks had 6 items and were'nt getting out on time. So I confronted him about it because he was denying that his LM's were doing this and then he found out they were. He told me that if it happens again both the postie and the LM will go down the conduct route and be out of the door.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Unless they remove the label on the box, or from across the banding, then its quite easy to prove. The labels always have contract number, due date, duty and amount on them.

Every week there should be a printout of what D2D contracts each walk should have that week.
This information should form part of your rep's Weekly Resourcing Meeting.

Your managers must be taking the labels off (which seems like a lot of effort) as every D2D contract should have a label either on the cardboard box that they come in, or if they are banded together with straps then on the top D2D.

The white labels as said before should have the following details

1. Contract No - eg HN41154465
2. Due Date - 26-Sep-11
3. Duty Number. Walk 29E
4. Number in Bundle 500
5. if more than 1 bundle/box then a note indicating this EG 1 of 6

I would ask questions if you don't have these details - for instance without knowing how many specific D2Ds you have for a contract how do you know if its every DP or just residential.

and invariably if IB are involved a trip to the Magistrates court and perhaps a one way trip in a Group 4 van.
