Postal changes confuse Newhaven residents

Revised postal routes are leaving residents frustrated and confused.

Changes were made to rounds in Newhaven last month and different delivery routes are gradually being phased in.

The new deliveries mean that postal workers have until 4pm each day to deliver post.

But Harry Gaston, of Hillcrest Road, Newhaven, claims he has only been receiving his post every other day for the past two weeks.

Mr Gaston emailed Royal Mail and received a response yesterday morning apologising for the problems he had been experiencing.

Royal Mail was unavailable for comment.
