can somebody help.On saturday i put my fleece jacket in the post box at Swinton(s yorks) post office,while i went round & did the shops etc.When i come back the collection driver had emptied the box & took the fleece.Why take it,don't they realise how it got in the box in the first place.I only put it there cos i had no room in the bag.It's either someone from Barnsley/Wombwell or Rotherham S/O.Please return the jacket to manvers .TA

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

I used to use a postbox as a pouchbox on one delivery years ago. Left 2 bundles in there to deliver on the way back to the office.
Got back later on to deliver the last 2 bundles only to find the collection driver had collected them
Exactly how he thought 2 huge bundles of mail, all neatly tied up with lazzy bands had gotten through a hole too small for them to fit through is anybodies guess.
The bundles turned up the next day. After being opened and sorted at Sadford
It amazes me sometimes. The sheer lack of intelligence from some of our fellow workers. I'm sure doing up a zip or tying shoe laces would be beyond some of them
