Not bad today, finished whole delivery on time.

Now three weeks off! :dance
Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

Woke up to thunder, lightning and heavy rain.
Very warm and clammy all day despite the rain.
Weird weather altogether.
Work was work.

The light summer is over  Nearly two full yorks and 26 reg. A very tiring 1230 finish
I staged a Roger Moore impersonator festival in my local village. There were a lot of eyebrows raised, I can tell you.

That's been said by so many people in our office - unbelievable week considering we're only just into September. One thing I have noticed is that the amount of blokes in the office who are having a scruffy "too-bloody-tired-so-bollocks-to-shaving" week has shot up this week :chuckle 4 day stubble everywhere :chuckle
I'm guilty too. Just too knackered. Today was another exhausting day.

Mails down in my MC too................no matter what the figures actually coming into the DO are. Think back maybe 5 years ago and compare to what comes in now and there is more (less stamped letters admittedly) 12/15 yorks of packets when we used to get 2/3, 8 yorks of letters when it was 6 and extra yorks of flats................................this will never change until the MCs stop lying about the actual volumes of mail.

Here's a funny. Forget the general trend ,just fix on the day to day cos MC figures are set in stone and s**t hot accurate.
Day one =heavy.
Day two = Identical traffic to day one ; yet inward sorting takes 45mins longer and cut off's rocket . go figure :chuckle

Thought I was doing really well today until I went searching for my pouches and found them in a york still full from Fri/Sat and the other duty on P&L had all the mail from Saturday still in the frame. Nice to be back after a week off and put on another duty at short notice :cuppa 4 loops cut off as I don't/won't do O/T. Same again tomorrow because all of what I prepped this morning is still in the frame.

No need to shout
The union stance on using personal transport is not to use it, so why are people still doing so? It is RM's job to get you out and back from your delivery. :cuppa
