MODERNISATION UGH ?

My office has about 50 staff and just the DOM. A neighbouring office has about 60 staff with a DOM, two line managers and a collections manager. Also in the MC there seem to be managers everywhere. Why is it not the same in every office and what exactly do line managers do after posties have left the office?

evrs = early voluntary redundancies

early voluntary redundancy is nothing to do with modernisation or is it a reason to feel sorry for them .a positive step would be to to make them do the deliveries we have to do with the pressure and shoddy techniques they use on us, once they have tried it for a few months maybe it would give them the nads to say okay lets change it lets make it work, half a round here or a bag there isnt enough ..........................

its been over a week of park and loop with lots of mail not getting delivered ,yet all our managers can do is play about with frames indoors , a decent manager should lead from the front they have enough time to deliver a part round help clear the office . never tell someone to do something your not prepared to do yourself,
