lovely quiet tuesday we left a loop each & all our big packets !!! area manager came down and asked if we all could complete !!! i was home well before the managers

this could be the most important post yet.royal fail have run down the service to such an extent that they are now begging staff to bail them out of the hole they have created.tell them where to go and enjoy the reaction from the management when they realise how far they have gone.

We`ve been told there is no such thing now as summer lapsing.
Lapsing can be done 52 weeks of the year if the mail volumes fall below the model week figures..Anyone for lapsing at christmas

I thought I remember reading on here somewhere that Bristol was getting rid of their packet sorting machine. Time you load the packets into whatever container you use for them machines isn't it nearly as quick to manually sort them?

they were saying that the it would be removed end of july but thats been put back to god knows when?

tell the DOM to test your round whilst your using a trolley and go up every path and do it by the book and when you finish get him to tell you how to make up the 2 hours you have gone over to make you faster

I've come to despise tuesdays.
When you have an IWT and Delivery Methods revision you will understand.
Not enough indoor work on a tuesday is the major problem.

I like fridays.
Some fridays my delivery span shrinks all the way down to 3hrs.
It's like 1995 all over again.

Our DOM had some ear bashing from above last week ( his bosses )..
In the tuesday brief we was told ...if you can't do it we dont want you type sheech. ..He wanted to know WHY our office was in the top 10 for performance in the UK ( B-P/L ...before park and loope ) ..now where down in the bottom of the bowles of Satan.. ..performance wise
" you where all finishing on your time before ( P/L ) so whats changed" was his question
Finishing late on IP doesn't help, ( never has even b4 P/L ) Now his muppets are counting the mail in the fittings for the ones who are leaving ( loopes ) as well as having a photo taken of the fittings...........( theres some bloody good job still left at RM ).in the future we will have a one 2 one ( with mate or U rep ) in the office to discuss WHY it was being done before and not now..
I myself is dreading what shite rounds are left when the repick kicks in...
As for what we are going to do during Christmas
We where once told in a brief some years ago...'If you dont like the job you know what you can do ' AND that was from one of the top gaffers...
