I dont know if i am scared or worried,i've just got a funny feeling the situation aint good,its just that feeling you get when walking down a dark alley and you know someone's gonna jump out and mug you,its just a case of when.

Well i think we are all about to be mugged

or am i just an old cynical fart?

think you're right to be worried. if they were getting anywhere they'd have been shouting from the roof tops by now

think you're right to be worried. if they were getting anywhere they'd have been shouting from the roof tops by now

Or we are close to a deal and they just need a few more days to iron out the details.

Just received official notification that talks have been extended - until Sunday! It's better news than I had anticipated - but a bit of a let down all the same. Apologies - if you already know.

I think that if they don't get a good deal and we get shafted then it will be a case of Deja vous 2003 and offices will begin to take matters into their own hands ie unofficial walkouts.

At the rate we are going it is looking like they may be trying to conclude next April's pay rise as well.

Think this is all good news, if things were not going well we would have heard. They are probly trying to produce one large agreement and that takes time. as for being sold out rember we will have a final say on any deal. The issues are varied and complecated let as wait and see i think we will be in a better postion to strike if it all turns out bad as RM will show their true colours if we fail to reach an agreement. The union have said all along that it is up for change so they Know they need to get it right too.

the pec have been updated the div/reps have been updated, WHY NOT THE MEMBERS. THEY have to realise WHO PAYS THEIR WAGES, WHO keeps them in a job, LIKE all good M.PS. TBH it's about what I thought, wouldn't surprise me if they extend again. I still think RM have get a deal as the rolling strikes worked a treat. Still not sure what kind of deal to expect.

I'm really worried about having to work to 65, and getting a crap lump sum and pension, I don't like working now, let alone having to work for another 20 years, it's been the pension that has always made all the crap worth it :)

If theyre so close to an agreement, why not put out an interim statement outlining the areas where they have agreement and the issues that they have still to thrash out

there must be some progress in our favour else the CWU wouldn't still be wasting their time talking, BUT it's obviously not nearly enough yet so let's keep strong and give our boys the support they need until the job's done . . . . let's not back them up against the wall until we know what that deal is, then we can decide for ourselves and make our opinions heard . . . .

What five more days they know how to keep us on tenderhooks just not on but in the end it might be a good sign so let's keep our fingers crossed maybee all the doom and gloom will not be called for at the end of the day we know that any talks would be give and take, but just how much give is what we need to know
