No news should be expected today then.
Hayes, Ward, Crozier and Leighton are meeting today, with emergency PEC tom. Looks like reps will get the nod tonight with full announcement tom to follow.

Extension of talks looks favourite (for 2 weeks is rumour)

All this panic mongering is getting on my nerves. HAVE FAITH IN THE CWU TOP TABLE. I'D LIKE TO KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON, BUT AS A REP, IT IS ESSENTIAL NOT TO RUMOUR MONGER, COS NOBODY AND I MEAN NOBODY KNOWS THE TRUTH ABOUT WHAT WILL BE ANNOUNCED UNTIL THE PEOPLE WHO ARE ELECTED BY THE MEMBERSHIP DECIDE TO ANNOUNCE IT. STAY CALM, BE PATIENT.

As long as they are meaningful talks, another period of calm is a good thing.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
