Managers in my office won't deliver feck all..........they just leave it in the frame until the next day if they can't get the docket grabbers to take it.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet

Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

Hammered. Mail really caught up with us today. Packets were everywhere. Normal service has resumed as they say.

Very heavy on packets. Haven't had 2 packet bags for the last 6 months on any round, yet I've had 2 for the last 3 days.

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
f***ing shambles of a 'service', full yorks everywhere, 1st class letters/DSA/Packets/Large Packets. This morning I've prepped 3 deliveries that arn't going out and put mail from yesterday back in the frame of others...all due to go out Monday...maybe. Why oh why is nothing done about this...why are IB/Auditors not doing surprise inspections?

Probably my most kackered day. Hit almost every door. And left the absorption in the frame. Someone did it ; I don't care who.
Think i might fall asleep in the chair very soon.

Brilliant day! Been on "Delivery Only" for a bit, but now we're short of staff on holidays/sick...Surprise Surprise! "Can you come in early and prep the walk you're delivering"? No problem
Watching all the Money grabbing FTers who like to get away early having to wade through TONS of IPS! Actually got to bundle up the way I like to deliver it!
And threw out all the packets that were too big, normal idiot crams them into the bag, no MEGA bundles!
Really enjoyed myself...I thought Bugger Me this is the way we used to do the job years ago!

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Totally agree with you the service is going down the crapper, the moral at our office is at an all time low, this week 2 full timers and 1 part timer have gone to pastures new (lucky Beggers) line managers trying to put pressure on people to collapse rounds even if they know they wont finish on time (Feckers) no wonder all the good will has gone. When i left our office to go home on sat there was mail and parcels all over the gaff, the place was a crap hole surely it can not go on like this!!! is any one upstairs BOTHERED?????????/Stormproof wrote:f***ing shambles of a 'service', full yorks everywhere, 1st class letters/DSA/Packets/Large Packets.
