A POSTAL worker who stole vouchers and cash from letters he sorted has been spared jail.
Abhishek Harbham, of Crowland Avenue, Hayes, admitted to intercepting nine packages between October 2010 and February, and to stealing Tesco club card vouchers.
He denied taking a £20 note from a letter, and to helping himself to a gift card for the Chimes shopping centre, but he was found guilty of the offences after a summary trial.
For each offence, he was sentenced to four months in jail, suspended for two years, and 200 hours of unpaid work. The terms will run concurrently.
The 34-year-old must also pay £1200 in costs to Royal Mail.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

The tag is too discreet.
It should weigh 20kilos and you should have to drag it around with you.

I assume the 20 kg would be reduced if you lived on a hill or in an area with predominantly stairs?

With just a little adjustment this headline could mean something else entirely. How about:
B.Hayes, Royal Mail worker, stole money from letters staff
B.Hayes, Royal Mail worker, stole money from letters staff
