Brighton MP writes to post office over closure

A campaign to reverse the closure of a post office has received the backing of an MP.

Simon Kirby, who represents Brighton Kemptown, has written to Post Office Ltd to press them for action to replace the centre in Lustrells Vale, Saltdean.

The community hub closed on February 22.

Mr Kirby, who has written to constituents in the area about the issue, said: "I am conscious of the importance of a local post office, particularly for elderly residents who may find it harder to travel."
