Lancaster mail could be delivered later

RESIDENTS in Lancaster could receive their post later in the day, with Royal Mail blaming a reduction in the amount being delivered.

Postal workers at Lancaster Delivery Office have begun using new delivery methods including the use of trolleys, with revised delivery routes, also in place as part of the changes.

The Royal Mail says post will continue to be delivered in the morning and for a longer period during the day, and that many customers will continue to get their mail by lunchtime.

The time customers receive mail will depend on where they live on the new delivery routes. This may be later or earlier than current delivery times

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Royal Mail management, utterly useless, completely incompetent, wouldn't trust any of 'em to sell the "big issue", let alone manage the nation's postal system.
Because there's supposed to be "less mail", we are being forced out later onto the streets? Shouldn't this alleged "less mail" mean we can hit the streets earlier? What a bunch of tossers. :d'oh!
