In the end though it will be the responsibility of the managers to reach the sequencing target honestly or dishonestly. If they cant do it after everyone else has had their £600/1 hour then their line managers will start to put the pressure on them or more likely call someone else in to sort out the mess for them. Really I would have thought every office should have reached their target or have had the target reduced within 2012 after the last pay rise as part of the BTA next April.

Why should MCs get their targets reduced just so they can get their SWW?? DOs aren't going to get it (we've been told that the revision has been put off until at least next October) so why should MCs????

Dorset MC has a target of 80%, which I presumed was the same for everybody. I believe our best week has been about 74%. The main problem is that our local DO's haven't completed there revisions, so we still have 12 batches that are walksorted, so that we can get them out of the office by 0600.

Rumour going around PE MC that there are 2 options.

1) 12 mins each day at the END of your shift... Not a chance in my opinion, they struggle to clear for 0600 even now.

2) 2300 start on the Monday night, 2200-0600 the rest of the week.

The idea of "banking" your hour for Annual Leave was thrown out - they can't even sort out the Annual Leave now, let alone with people having extra days off there and there!!!

My feeling is management will FORCE the choice of option 1
And after a while, you can work on points for style,
Like the club tie, and the firm handshake,
A certain look in the eye and an easy smile.

You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to,
So that when they turn their backs on you,
You'll get the chance to put the knife in.

You are not allowed to bank your hour once you reach your target.
This would go against the unions stance on gaining a shorter working week.
You are however allowed to bank the half hour gained from reaching your 1st target, apparently though there is an unwritten rule that you can only bank a maximum of 16hrs.

More likely it'll be option 2, what times do you get your first artics in on a Monday night?

Normally between midnight and 1am.... Then then ALL arrive about 3am!
