Sorry just caught this one POSTMAN :d'oh! . Postal workers never will be "militant" enough with just the CWU, they need to look outside of RM / CWU for inspiration. RM / CWU have destroyed most all fighting spirit leaving just bitterness in its place. "Militant." What does that mean to you? I personally don’t care for the label as with most labels they seem to be negative and i would prefer the statement "a worker that stands up for what is right for themselves and their fellow workers," it does not fall off the tongue smoothly but there is no ambiguity about the statement and no negativity that the media pull up against any workers struggle.
Workers Champion :hmmmm :hmmmm

Only if people are daft enough to except the narrow minded version of and finger pointing at what they the media call "Militant." The media lie and put their own "spin" on most everything but if your happy with that definition then i am happy for you, but most people know the media lie cheat and steal every day so why they would look to them for any education i don’t know? Still horses for courses i say. I will say with just 11.4 % of the vote from CWU members maybe posties think the NEC are not "Militant" enough and the membership know it so expect to be sold out again so don’t bother as they feel they can’t change anything and they could be correct.
