Not particularly Custard.
Just anyone who thinks her capability as a manager has any relevance on whether she deserved to be bullied.
Fishtank has it spot on in my opinion. You could be the worst manager in the history of RM, you could not know the difference between BR and DSA, you could never have gone out on the ground but none of that would justify bullying.
Lacking respect for a bad manager is one thing but it should not be confused with, or make bullying, acceptable.

my comment was aimed at RM managers(well in DOs) in general
not on the aspects of this case
The procedure (Royal Mail's Bullying and Harassment Procedure) says that "a bully misuses his or her power, position or knowledge to criticise, humiliate or destroy a subordinate, a colleague or their manager".
"Today’s workplace has become heartless and soulless. Employees are seen as units of labour, automatons, functionaries, objects for achieving designated tasks, and as costs to be minimised."

I wonder how the Cameron, Clegg and Cable "f**k Off" smilies which depict them having their heads smashed in fit in with the moral indignation in this thread
But on a more serious note I never claimed I approved of or thought the bullying acceptable. I was merely stating surprise at the lack of forethought, preparation and training when making people up to a supervisory role when there is a very good chance that they lack the skills and knowledge to perform that role.
