Re: The "How was your day" thread.
On a shared van shift today....none too shabby... sun shining, friendly customers...
asked my oppo to just let the managers know we would probably need some ot for today.....
halfway round he told me that the reply had been "you cant have any, we have used the overtime budget"..........
He took that answer... oh the naivety of youth

Yeah we have matched on the weather before StormStormproof wrote:You must work near me Krussel, exactly the same weather here today. I got soaked through to the skin but to be honest I prefer the weather like that than the hot relentless sun. Fell over whilst delivering my last bundle aswellkrussel wrote:What a change in the weather![]()

Yesterday it was 30 deg and i melted on the streets, today was a much more postie friendly 20 deg and it chucked down all day. So 4 hours walking in the pouring rain (must be a song in that somewhere)
Today started bright but soon grew overcast and i felt just the odd spot of rain around noon but it came to nowt
I am off today so not bothered so much about the weather.
Let the CONGA begin
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

Did'nt think there was any duties with that amount of drops....is it all blocks of flats with the boxes in the foyer? There is no way it is houses with driveways thats for sure.

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Took just over 4 hrs round trip today. Takes about 40 mins of travel every day with the HCT so didn't do that bad. Managed to get back before some of the lads on the vans, even though I was the last out of the office.
