Re: is any office geting park and loop to work ?
we have been doing park and loop for three weeks now, lino is losing his head trying to rush us out we smile and say were doing our best (oh is it brew time
)his face is a picture when everyones bringing two, three and sometimes four bags back, im sure hes losing weght, its simple lads and lassies, use your trolly, prep your door 2 door into your frame, take your brews, check your vans, form left everything, mark up all your pkts for each bag, dont come in early, or in other words just do your job, thats how they want it thats how they can have it,
the pressure is now off us and on them, time for them to earn there money and there bonus.

Correct - we knew it would be didn't we? I share in a P & L and the trolley is used occasionally only as most loops are much tighter than prescribed by the pen pushers. It still is far slower than working on your own with a bike or van. All they needed to do was invest in the bike stock (by making it more capanle of carrying the bulk of more packets/parcels that are not heavy but large in the main), but course that is too long term an investment for current business thinking. just after looking at the agreed walking speeds
it shows a faster walking speed for using a LWT than the time given for carrying a pouch how did RM and the CWU let this slip in when they know the LWT slows you down

At a guess i would say HQ have done another dirty deal to get rid of Posties through the back door as Dingo pointed out heregerardy wrote:just after looking at the agreed walking speeds

Quote! when we went to one delivery we were meant to lost 30 thousand job losses and each office got £26.28 pence pay increase , yet Royal Mail only managed to get 5000 job reductions due to the fact offices negotitated better deals.
I wonder how many of our jobs they are planing on cutting with management this time around without telling us?
