Royal Mail has submitted a planning application for 1.870 homes to be developed on the site of a mail centre in the Nine Elms area of Battersea, London.

The mixed use scheme, designed by Allies & Morrison, will provide shops, business space, cafes, bars, restaurants and a variety of leisure facilities.

The application includes outline plans for the scheme’s masterplan and detailed designs for a number of the buildings.

Nine Elms is the focal point for a number of major applications including Treasury’s plans for Battersea Power station and the new US Embassy development being carried out by Ballymore.

Both the Mail Centre and Battersea dogs home are in fact covered by South Lambeth DO which is SW8.
Battersea is SW11,Clapham junction railway station is there,and not in Clapham which is SW4

Just like RM to do this sort of thing when house prices are rising slowly and many shops ect are being shut down and money is very tight but for the most affluent. They cant even do this kind of thing right.

I forgot to mention Battersea Power Station which is also not in Battersea and sits between the Mail Centre and the dogs home which are all on Battersea Park Road SW8.
Battersea Park Road is split,some is in SW8 the rest is in SW11 .

I grew up on an Estate in Brixton which is covered by Stockwell DO SW9,which also delivers to Brixton Market
Brixton DO is SW2,which does deliver to Brixton prison,just off Brixton Hill
