All the best to Stockport. Let's hope our brother is re-instated soon.

Surely there should be a fact finding interview, disciplinary hearing etc with all people concerned submitting evidence for or against. RM shoot themselves in the foot methinks.

Stay solid and defeat this injustice.

How will I find out if Stockport are on strike again tonight, because If they are I can go in and do my round early as I work close to stockport, tryed ringing the number on RM website but didnt let me get through to anyone, or will I just have to get up early and ring my office to find out ? I dont want to be going in early only to find a load of mail needs throwing in my frame as I'm only a part timer and dont do it !

Reading between the line I think James is one of the new type of delivering only posties - he does not normally sort or throw off.

Work Early

Post by JAMESMARSH1980 »

Because on Saturday I was unaware of the strike action on friday night so went in at my usual time of 9.00am and when I was ready at 9.30 every had already finished and had gone home (Drivers Included) So I had nobody to drop my bags off and was stuck at the office while I had to wait for a lift up. If I get in early I will get a lift straight away, I would rather be sat at home early than stuck at the office not delivering anything staring at my bags in front of me !! And as the above post says I dont throw my mail out so if there is a strike tonight my frame will be ready early so I would rather get it out of the way and have a full day to myself rather than go out late and be stuck at the office with no lift.
