POST deliveries that are being made late in the day are impacting on businesses in Sunninghill, says a business owner.
Beverley Williams Estate Agents in Bagshot Road receives its post sometimes as late as 2pm making it difficult for staff to deal with important letters promptly.
Owner Beverley Williams says post is not always late but is concerned that when it is delivered after lunch time it affects the way he runs his business.
Mr Williams said: "In any business if you have to action things, like putting a cheque in the bank it makes it very difficult to do it that day.
"I get my post at home by 9.30am but I think priority should be given to businesses, they are part of the economy and keep it going."
Across the bridge in Sunninghill High Street Inspirations gift shop receives its post before 9.30am each day.
Janet Cambell at Inspirations said: "I think we must be on a different shift to those across the bridge, but one business shouldn't be favoured over the other."
Royal Mail told the News that it aimed to deliver mail by 3pm in urban areas and 4pm in rural areas, and that there was no earlier target time for businesses.

"I get my post at home by 9.30am but I think priority should be given to businesses, they are part of the economy and keep it going." - well, if "businesses" hadn't deserted Royal Mail to save some money with the DSA cowboys then we just might be better placed to deliver everything a bit earlier.

9:00 O'clock Specials might not work. Being an Estate Agents they probably don't open until 9:30.They could always pay to have it delivered early
