I dont like bullshite PC and makeshift idealism. I really think this issue on the Screws striking is a tough one... I want A BETTER FOR ALL WORLD. But how? Im no socialworker, or vigilanti.. I just know whats right inside.....

IWW has very strong views and i do respect them. Not all i agree with as i know i have many things lots will disagree with..

But as a person he and many on ere have a social awareness that is great and good... Im 36 with a family that brought me up to respect and honesty.. Living in a place where there wasnt much about... Drugs, Violence, and anti social behavour was the norm for most as i was being brought up. We all knew the score, But we all didnt want or need to be "one of the faces"

The balance you talk of is correct in my book.. Everything needs a balance.. Take SCARGILL in the 80s.. Unions came to big to quick for the masses and the establishment couldnt have it.... Thatcher and the goverment couldnt have a Union run country as much as most would love it and it would work to some degree. It wernt gonna happen. SHAME BUT TRUE..

There will always be a "THEM AND US" In the world but the gap between needs to be shortened.. By Some Militant steps and some balance of politics and straight talk and actions... The old FACIST and CAPITALIST rows will go on but i think we need to look beyond that old outlook on things to move on.. OUTDATED VIEWS in my book.. I never intended any sarcasm in my post, it might have been a bit patronising and well done to you for noticing that, kudos to you.

I really don't give a toss what you think of me or my posts,if you don't like them don't respond to them and it will save your tender soul from my sarcastic keyboard,it's an internet forum where various viewpoints are discussed and viewpoints will differ just like real life.

If you want a serious debate about prison reform, crime and punishment/rehabilitation then go for it.

Fascist is the correct spelling by the way.(internet spelling police)

So Belial,my suggestion that young people caught in possession of a firearm should be made to do National service is somehow fascism?

Well let me shed a little more light on why I made the comment.
At present you have thousands of good honest law abiding citizens mostly from under privileged backgrounds being recruited by the army and sent out to Iraq and Afghanistan risking being killed or crippled for life,now I'm not trying to justify the Iraq/Afgan war as I believe we have no business being out there.
However the fact remains that we will always need some kind of army so why should good people go out and risk their lives?

Until a few decades ago National service was compulsory for ALL citizens so the society we lived in then must have been Fascist right?

I think it should be the criminals who should be made to risk their lives as the thought of a couple of years in the army should make them think twice and if it doesn't the experience of it certainly will change their attitude forever.

So belial what do you intend to do when an 11 year old kid gets shot in Utopia?
Oh I forgot it won't happen then because we'll all be friends and life will be perfect.

And Belial your hint that I am a potential manager is an absolute insult as I have spent the last few years as an activist fighting for my colleagues against the daily onslaught by management.

Just because I don't believe in your left wing agenda does not make me a potential manager in fact quite the opposite.

I have met many left wing activists who spout on about ban the bomb etc whilst the workers conditions who they are meant to be representing go down the toilet and they do absolutely nothing.

Dear me! I don't think I've been called a prick by a sweaty, unwashed greaser since I was 17 and smacked one of the smelly bastards in Southport.
