Re: Revision Activity Suspended
Shouldn't the members be insulted...sorry consulted first before another period of chatter and another "deal of the century".dingo wrote: I expect further talks to take place with a further agreement maybe a BT 2011 2 agreement to follow to deal with the fact that revisions are not working or taking so long to deploy they are denying our members the lump sums and are unpopular and are based on too much science which very few understand , maybe a new reward process and a new mail centre consultation process.
If we can't hold Royal Mail to this one,why would we enter into another one.
Let's put our cards on the table and stop the bull,BT2011 as you call it would not be to our benefit...it would only be placed on the table because BT2010 has not produced the savings our employer wants.
What will be in it for us?
Colleagueshares repackaged for the third time!....the lump sums, the 39hr week, the delivery methods already due repackaged again....more promises over mail centre consultation that were ignored after BT2010.
When BT2010 was released you and others said we have to place our trust in Royal Mail at some point.
Well...the membership did...and look where it got them.
How often can you use the Kansas City Shuffle on the same members?
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

Re: Revision Activity Suspended
Haven't really come to expect anything else really. The first agreement was ill thought out, hence the continuation a year later to still iron out the agreement.
You can bet your arse the new agreement isn't going to be any better, in fact it is probably a rehash of the original except RM have moved the goalposts to 2015 and the union will be brought in to "re-package" the same crap. The reason for not consulting the members is because our aims and ambitions will look nothing like what will be on the table...................again!!!!!

Re: Revision Activity Suspended
Translation:
Our revision came in March we have received £800 in payments. It was tough at first as we didn't really think it would work. Its OK now and as this is a National Deployment I fully expect to see other offices going through the pain barrier like we did and came out the other side.
(I don't normally speak gibberish but I have done my best here...)

Nothing up just honestly could not understand what you were trying to get across. As to revision we are in middle of one but P&L a long way off - not enough room for the vans we have now never mind P&L. In the morning they have to move vans onto the street so that drivers can load them, and let the 700s in.maisymoo04 wrote:whats up teebs you one of the sh@@ houses who havnt got it in then

Re: Revision Activity Suspended
There was a DOMs meeting two weeks ago, held by one of the directors. Now regardless of what they actually tell divisional in meetings, the afore-mentioned meeting was a speech in which was stated " Our revisions are failing because we are not phasing them in,we are merely pushing them through".
Who is wagging the dog on revisions? We have to look at 3 things:
a) The DOMS are going it alone,( yes! I find that hard to believe!)
b) The directors are pushing it through on the quiet
c) The sector managers are going it alone
We do know one thing for sure. Certain DOMS are standing up in certain meetings and "promising" revisions, this is a fact. However they fail to realise that their bosses will hold them to their word. In fact their "HR hotline" has been hot of late as when a revision goes "tits up" they ring "for advice" on "performance issues". Does this all sound familiar now?
