If being transfered to the mail center is her only punishment, I would take that. Any way we all know that she will end up back at her office eventually as rural deliver drivers are a specilist job that reqires local knowledge and experiance, its hard to train some one up. So sit tight

Agreed also a thought has occurred to me, if she appeals, the next manager up has the authority to overturn the decision of the Manager who issued the original punishment, good or bad, the next one up may overturn it and make it a dismissal !
I know as I made an appeal against a 12 months suspended dismissal and got it reduced to a 2 year warning, the manager who took the appeal thought it was excessive (for a minor offence) and overturned it.
She should accept it and keep her head down !
