Some wit on here suggested that we employ the GS and DGS et al, but the truth of the matter is, they are like cowboy builders - take the money and run when the going looks like it is going to interfere with their lifstyle. Dave Ward claimed that the interim agreement negated the need for continued action in 2009 and that says it all. Dingo runs with the CWU full time release pack and HQ who are riddled with negativity when it comes to pay and conditions for the ordinary working postman/woman.
Gone are the days of the tub thumping, achieve anything union leaders -what we elected, and cannot get rid of are the nouveau middle class who have forgotten their working class roots.
As for the letter................more chattering from the chattering classes with the base understanding that we cannot achieve anything because Royal Mail won't let us. The members survey........................sometime never.

Got the voice today complete with NEC/PEC Election papers...............now wouldn't it have been a wonderful idea to include a members consultation booklet - now that would have engaged the whole of the membership.........
