POSTMAN involved in £161M

Post by R@YAL F@IL »

Just read the story about the Euro Lottery in the Daily Mail and made me chuckle regarding the D.O manager:

Their postman revealed: 'The begging letters have already started coming. I delivered a pile of them today.
'But there are many more piled up at the sorting office. They are just addressed to "The Weirs" and the manager is deciding whether to deliver them.'

This is surely "WILFUL DELAY OF MAIL"

Incomplete address - hes probably wondering if hes got the staff to kill them off because you can be sure the DOM won't do it.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

All mail should have attempted delivery through the knowledge of the delivery staff, the postman in question has already stated he is delivering mail named "The Weirs" so why NOT the remainder of the mail? ......... my guess is that the manager will sign off the rest of the begging letters and put in his own request :whistle

As soon as the lucky Weirs are back home I can see the manager calling round telling them about our redirection service

I reckon they're weird. They've opened themselves up to a flood of imponderables. Still, if any of the Weirs are reading this I can guarantee you (money up front, of course) a solution to some of your problems is but only a pm away. So do it now, contact me -- if you dare. :coolr :Very Happy :angel
We posties do things differently, but we still get shot at!

I couldn't agree with this less, if the mail is incorrectly addressed it should be returned to sender as 'address incomplete'.......otherwise when a reserve goes on the duty how will he know where it should go, any mail incorrectly addressed gets killed off on my watch! ;)

I wouldn't tell anyone. I win this amount I would give everyone in my delivery office 25 grand each.

I wouldn't want publicity as I want to be able to enjoy my night out as normal rather than fighting off hundred of ladies trying to seduce me on dance floor
