If you have been getting it since 2006 then it is not a supplement under the 2010 agreement so the LTB would not apply.

Hi TBT thanks...on my payslip its said Defined Area Supplement.
That sounds line a retention supplement which is based on local conditions. If I am right you would need to find out how much a 40 hour FT gets - if they get around £10 then yes your supplement would be correct.

2 Factual errors with that statement.
Its not a D2D supplement its a Delivery Supplement.
Processing don't get a delivery supplement. They do get various functional supplements and IIRC the MC one is £8 (pro-rata) per week not £20 +

Also to add,some collection hubs who perform delivery work week in and week out are getting,(or were anyway), the collections supplement,(£8) and not the £20 for over a year. I think any devious employer would love to "divide and conquer". Let's not help them eh? (regardless of whether we agree with the national agreement or not).

can anyone give me a answer ? we get delivery supplement of £20+ . we also do whats called starbursting(apart of another walk) surely someone is getting a delivery supplement for that duty ? postman/women who take it on starburst over the week shouldn't have to take them or should get an extra payment for taking them. who is getting the payment for that duty ? to me this is fraud.

It isn't a payment per duty...it's a payment per OPG...and nothing to do with D2D.

thats fair enough fishtank BUT a lino was asking our union rep as to why i hadn't taken them and was going to take me in the office to interveiw me. ( i was only on 3 days of that week) someone elsewas doing the other 2 but not a mention of them being asked or taken in the office. ( i have a greivance in against the manager at present and i think he is trying to rile me) our OFFICE stinks.
As long as you have done your 1/5th or 1/6th,(however many days you have worked) you are fine. In regards to how the supplement is actually managed is a totally different matter. No it's not being managed and judging by this forum that is very clear.

If DTD are scheduled for the part of the duty you are starbursting then you should take them and the same applies for all OPGS. The duty when performed by one person should have a clear breakdown of which part of the round has DTD's on any given day,when the duty is split up amongst the many the DOM/Line manger should be ensuring everyone knows at the start of the week exactly what is required to ensure delivery of DTD.
Thats right Daz,its not being managed. It's quite clear that as workers this whole thing is badly managed. They are also protected by "masonic" directors,(although some say I'm mad! LOL!)
