The Barrow-in-Furness office has really started to fall apart this week . Even the office managers seam to have come to the conclusion that they are flogging a dead horse and have more or less thrown the towel in , they are openly talking about the disaster of revision which I thought I would never hear . Sickness levels have been between 15-20% since revision was introduced in November , there again I don't think that's a surprise , with this work load injuries and illnesses are just going to increase . Even the Posties who have never cut off since joining RM are now doing so and I can only see more and more people cutting off with each week that passes . One good thing , for the last couple of weeks I haven't heard of anybody suffering any harasment from the office managers regarding cutting off .

Next week parliament will vote in favour to privatise RM and from then on the future is rosy . RM's new owners will reduce our workload to an achievable level . Part time staff who are currently working full time hours will be given full time jobs so they can get full time benefits ( bonus , holidays etc ) . Bullying and harasment will be a thing of the past . The new management and the CWU will work together to restore the once great name and reputation of RM .

That happened in our office before christmas (or maybe they were just admin staff draughted in from somewhere) and we're still failing badly. It doesn't help when your WSM keeps turning up late either

ONE postie to ONE round = completion...SIMPLES! Park n Loop is SH**E. Everyone's knackered. Atmosphere and mood in office is totally DEPRESSING. I get home and half an hour later its dark, i go out in a van with postie who thinks HE'S the boss, cos im only a Reserve, on a different bleedin round most weeks, and get bolocked if i go OFF LOOP! I just wana get on FAST and get the bloody mail delivered, not be hangin about in the freezin cold. Question: Is it the first paragraph in Bosses Trainin manual that....If the workers think u're a C**T, then you're doin your job right?
