Most of our vans resemble the photo, I've refused to drive two because smokers use them and smoke in them, we've had some new vans delivered recently since the revision and after only 3-4 weeks they are starting to resemble skips.

odd that you mention that...
a guy i worked with a few years back (after the no smoking things was enforced) was telling me about being taken by the "old bill" to the cop shop to give a statement because of some involvement in preventing a mugging or something...

anyway he mentioned that neither of the police officers in the motor wore a seatbelt, the driver was smoking, and using the radio (not the music radio) while driving, along an unlit road at what he claimed was over 50mph...

i know when i have seen cop cars driving past me when im out doing the shopping in town i have regularly seen the driver with a fag...
besides... the office my mate works in, its DOM regularly would drive posties out to start their rounds... and was always smoking...

but then again that comes back to the us -vs- them defense/argument
