How do you indentify a test letter? Help

I am hoping to argue that an experienced OPG would not wilfully delay a test letter.

They're not test letters. They're sent by a independent company to a named panelists around the country. RM wouldn't get that information directly. That would be used by the indepedent company to get the percentage of first class letters arriving the next day with the results passed onto Postcom. A test letter is sent by the QD OR IB and placed into someones mail. They can be anything from British Gas envelopes or BT evenelopes( usually the QD and when a ROM suspects a postie of wilful delay and requests them) to Birthday cards( Usually IB AND used in cases of suspected theft).

why would you need to know how to indentify a test letter for a conduct case?

just deliver ALL letters you get everyday or is that too much to ask?

that way you won't have to worry about if it is a test letter or not

I think if you read the thread carefully, you'll find it is a collection driver being charged with delaying a test letter deliberately.

I have read the thread nothing in there to suggest what you say unless you count the links which I didn't read

how could a collection driver be accused of deliberately delaying a letter? surely they either picked it up when they should have or they didn't?

The test letter is an RFID item, which has a chip and triggers when it passes under the RFID scanners which hang above DO doors. They are posted by RM in Post boxes and monitor collection mail.

Is there any way of indentifying these letters, which are I suppose addressed to RM Mail Centres.

Have seen hand- written letters come to my old d.o. before with large T in black felt tip on the back of the envelopes ,They all came in the same bundle/ box iirc

so someone didn't do a collection properly and it is something to shout about?
