Yeah i totally know what you mean but for me i actually dislike the walking part as well. Spending so much time alone during the day just seems to give me too much time to stew over how much i hate the screws!Good on you Im not far behind you this job is slowly eating up whats left of my spirit, not so much the walking but all the other bullshit inside, really starting to HATE this job.I only did a 14 months sentence i dont know how the rest of you put up with it!

"Are we expected to take these out in pouches?
No. All RM Heavyweight items above 1kg will be delivered by vans. In some instances it may be operationally feasible to use High Capacity Trolleys for low volumes"

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

One of the quietest days ever, finished for 12.00, and that included lapsing lol it was one of the easiest walks I have done, though rest of week looks not so good though ;(

Worst Tuesday ever. Sky mags, ginormous catalogues, slightly smaller catalogues on top of that, lots of other flats, plus the normal mail and lots of packets (Tuesday is always bad for packets). All in all an utter terror of a Tuesday.

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Monday was quite heavy. Plenty of flats, including stuff from the local housing trust. Very hot and humid day and shattered at the end.
Today was quieter, big gaps between drops and hardly any packets. Much cooler, slightly cloudy but at least it was dry.
