Many in our office were conned into it for a year and the local union rep supported the Linos stance on this.

What is your rep doing about it.
Has the area rep been informed.
Are your guys having docket docked because they finished early one day,if yes why are they doing docket.

Have you asked the manager to show you the banking hrs agreement.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

For an example of extreme banking visit our office. The manager has said in a huddle that if anyone claims overtime he is prepared to scrutinize signing off sheets for the last four weeks in an attempt to claw it back. How sad is that?

We're pre-revision and about 80% of our section would have made between 1 and 3 hours today, probably half as much yesterday. And yet we still get some moaning on Thursday and Friday, that they might, possibly, go 5 minutes over.

What weird world do some posties live in, that they think a company will pay them for nowt

There is a 30 mins flexability agreement, but you don't have to do it.

RF if you know it,s a busy day, get clarification before you go out that you are going to be over your time and you want to be paid overtime. If the DOM/LINO refuses then you work your hours and he has to deal with the cut offs.
