When you reach 3 strikes you are taken into the office to be spoken to by the manager, where he decides if it merit's conduct . This wouldn't be so bad an idea but on the list of things some are petty and trivial .
Here is an example of the things on the list .
Not hanging drop bag back up on the frame
Not signing d2d control sheet
Not signing out
Not endorsing every piece of mail for closed businesses , even if the 1 business has 20 letters
Leaving empty boxes from d2d under bench
The list goes on and on ...........
wow i breached every one single one of them today as i did not have the time to, as well as deliver the mail which i see as a far more important part of the job, let the guys on light duty who sit in the office all day drinking coffee sort it out, what are they called again.... oh yes Managers. :dance

Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat

The only answer to that is what do you do when 'good will' has been removed from the workplace by management? You work to rule. That is your solution. Do EVERYTHING by the book. It takes you longer and their overtime will shoot through the roof. Their approach here IS abiding by the rules of law but so is working to rule so play them at their own game. Prep only as fast as min requirements dictate. Walk liesurely around the depot not at speed. Walk at min required rate while on delivery. Stop at each gate/door to check mail ie don't check mail while walking. Cyle at a safe and liesuerly rate do not hurry along. I think you will find you will have to cut off everyday once you start doing the job how it is supposed to be done for safety's sake. I for one have done this many times before sometimes for months at a time and will always do it if a manager gets on my case. THey are natural bullies and this sort of petty carry on is not good for anybody especially not the buisness.
